We are ideally located halfway between Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park at Schoodic Point. We are 45 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and just off scenic Route 1 to "Downeast" Maine. The cottages are fully equipped for housekeeping, with washer, dryer and wood stove. They sleep up to 7 people. We are in an excellent area for hiking, biking, kayaking and berry picking. Walk to Jellison Cove on Frenchman's Bay or explore the nearby woods and fields.

Stroll down through the orchard to sit on the beach, watch the shore birds and boats go by, maybe even go for a dip if you're brave. Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor are just 20 minutes away.

Red Farmhouse on Hancock Point is a 200-year old cape with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths on 10 private acres of spruce, pine, and wild blueberries on Hancock Point. The granddaughter of Hannibal Hamlin lived here and did extensive work that preserved the house to this day. From the upstairs rooms you can see Frenchman's Bay, the Porcupine Islands, the mountains of Acadia National Park, the Cat Ferry to Nova Scotia, and visiting ocean liners. We're within easy driving distance of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island, as well as Schoodic Point. There's a path to the water. We offer all appliances, grills for barbecuing, terrace for dining, a screened porch, and accommodations for up to eight people.

Nutkin Cottage is a charming camp on Donnell Pond, considered one of the most pristine lakes in the state of Maine. A good part of the shoreline is protected. Our cottage is at the end of Squirrel Lane, down close to the water, giving it privacy from its neighbors. Built in the 1940s, its exterior profile is humble. However its interior has been completely painted and is fresh and clean. Bright furnishings give it a very nice cottage feel. The cottage kitchen is fully supplied with pots, pans, dishes, microwave, toaster. Linens and towels are ready and waiting. There's a washer and dryer. There are two bedrooms. The cottage sleeps 7 people, has 2 decks, lots of seating, gas grill, and the lake!
